Bofeng New Materials supplies self-adhesive film labels in PET, PP, PVC and PE — for applications where paper will not hold up.
Film is chosen when the label has to survive water, oil, chemicals, abrasion or repeated handling. The four common facestocks differ in stiffness, clarity and temperature range:
- PET — dimensionally stable and heat-resistant; the usual choice for durable product and industrial labels.
- PP — squeezable and moisture-resistant; the standard for bottles, tubes and daily-chemical packs.
- PE — soft and conformable, and able to share the container resin for single-stream recycling of PE packs.
- PVC — flexible and conformable for curved surfaces; note that PVC is restricted in some recycling streams.
Finishes include gloss, matte, clear-on-clear and metalized. Adhesive and liner are matched to the container surface, the fill temperature and the application method.
FAQ
- Can film labels be recycled? It depends on the pack. Where the label and the container share one resin, the pack can be treated as a single material and the label does not have to be separated. Tell us the container material and we will advise on the matching facestock.
- Which film for a squeezable bottle? PP or PE — both recover their shape after compression without cracking or lifting.
- Do you supply freezer and high-temperature grades? Yes; specify the temperature range and the adhesive is selected accordingly.
- What do you need to quote? Container material and shape, facestock or application, label size, quantity, printing, liner and printer type.
