PVC Film Labels

A label on a conical shampoo tube, a curved engine-oil drum or a rounded chemical container has a job a flat, stiff label cannot do — it has to follow the curve. If the film is rigid, the label tents at the edges and lifts; if the material is not resistant, oil and solvent creep under the print, moisture works its way in, and an outdoor face yellows. The container starts to look worn, and the product identity on it fades before the product is used up.

We supply PVC film labels — a soft, flexible polyvinyl chloride film with a permanent self-adhesive backing that wraps easily around conical and cylindrical containers without edge lift, and keeps its dimensions as temperatures change. The construction resists acids, alkalis, oils, alcohols and cleaning solvents, is impervious to water across a -40°C to +80°C range, and stands up to tearing and abrasion — so it suits chemical drums and bottles, electronics housings, personal-care tubes and outdoor equipment.

Conforms around curved and conical containers

The PVC film is soft and flexible, and its self-adhesive layer is matched to follow the surface. On conical and cylindrical containers the label lies flat around the curve, the edges do not tent or lift, and the face stays smooth even after storage — the container looks finished and the label keeps reading cleanly.

The surface is particularly well suited to screen printing and also works with flexographic and letterpress printing, with strong colour adhesion — complex patterns and spot colours keep their definition.
