Pearlized Film Labels

For a cosmetics jar, a bottle of spirits or a box of premium chocolates, the label has to feel as good as the product inside. Pearl sheen is one way brands signal that - a soft, natural lustre, neither flat print nor flashy foil, that shifts gently as the pack moves. When that sheen is uneven, reads too plasticky, or sits in a top coating that rubs off at the edge of the jar, an otherwise well-made product can look ordinary on the shelf.

We supply pearlized film labels that put the pearl into the material itself. Pearlescent pigment is dispersed inside the film substrate - BOPP, PET or PE - so the lustre comes from within the label, stays even across the roll and holds through the label's life. Choose silver-white, golden, rainbow or coloured pearl series; finish the face gloss, matt or with spot UV; and add offset, gravure, flexo or screen printing when the design needs logos, claims or barcodes on top of the effect.

Pearlescent pigment inside the substrate reflects light in fine layers, so the sheen emerges from within the material - uniform across the roll, subtle in shift, and not a coating that can rub, scratch or peel off with handling.

• How is the pearl effect different from a printed gloss or foil? Pearlized film carries pigment inside the substrate, so the sheen comes from within and reads as natural and uniform, rather than a printed or laminated layer sitting on the surface.
• Which substrate should I choose? BOPP covers most mainstream packs economically; PET is stronger and suits bottling lines and tougher handling; PE works on squeezable containers. We can confirm the right one for your pack.
