FAQ

• Is it fully transparent like plastic film? — No. Glassine is frosted: contents appear as a soft outline, not a clear view. If you need a transparent "window", tell us and we will discuss the options for your goods.
• Can it come into contact with food? — Yes for dry, low-oil foods such as nuts, baked goods, confectionery and sliced deli items; a food-safe grade is available and compliance documents are provided offline. It is not meant for fried or heavily oiled contents.
• Can it hold fried or hot oily food? — No. Glassine is specified for dry and low-oil contents. For fried, oily or hot takeaway, use our Greaseproof Paper Bags instead.
