How to Select and Order

• Match paper weight to load — a standard retail carrier of 70–120 gsm covers most shopping; go heavier (up to 200 gsm) with reinforced bottoms and handles for dense or bulky goods, up to roughly 25 kg.
• Choose the style by how it is packed and carried — a gusseted or block bottom stands open for fast counter packing; the handle type depends on carry comfort and printed design.
• Send bag dimensions, blank or printed, handle preference and quantity; we confirm the specification before you order. Request samples to check the paper weight and printing on your own product.

FAQ

• Is it suitable for oily or fried food? — The unbleached kraft base has only light natural oil resistance. For fried, oily or saucy takeaway, use Greaseproof Paper Bags instead.
• Can it come in contact with food? — Food-contact-safe grades are available for dry and low-oil foods such as bread, pastries and sandwiches; compliance documents are provided offline on request.
• How much weight can it carry? — It depends on paper weight and construction. A standard carrier is typically 70–120 gsm; reinforced versions with a block bottom and strong handles can carry heavier goods, up to roughly 25 kg. Tell us the load and we will recommend the grade.
• Can size, handle and printing be customised? — Yes — bag dimensions, paper weight, handle type and printing (flexo, offset, foil and more) are made to order from your design.
• Is it recyclable / compostable? — Standard uncoated kraft bags are single-material paper: they can be recycled with paper where local collection accepts them, and composted in industrial facilities. Check local rules — handles and laminations affect recyclability.
