  • Grammage: 40–100 gsm

Food-grade silicone-coated parchment paper is vegetable parchment given a food-grade silicone coating — a high-release, non-stick paper that keeps the strength, oil resistance and heat stability of the parchment base. It is the working base behind high-release baking tray liners, steamer liners, chocolate and confectionery sheets, and interleaving papers for sticky or fatty foods — the stock converters slit, cut and print into finished food-contact paper.

As a paper supplier and sourcing partner, Bofeng supplies food-grade silicone-coated parchment on rolls or in sheets, in the common 40–100 gsm range. Tell us your converting process and target end use, and we will match grammage, coating and format to your line.

What is food-grade silicone-coated parchment paper

The base is the parchment described on the parchment paper page — a dense, semi-translucent sheet made from clean, food-grade virgin pulp that resists grease, moisture and heat. What sets this grade apart is a food-grade silicone layer applied to the sheet. The silicone forms a smooth, low-surface-energy surface that releases even sticky bakes cleanly, in most uses without oiling or flouring the paper. Because the coating sits on a parchment base rather than a standard food-paper base, the sheet keeps more of the base's strength and heat stability — so it is the grade chosen where a bake must release cleanly and the liner must hold its shape through longer baking at higher heat.

Key material properties

  • High-release, non-stick surface. The food-grade silicone layer releases sticky items — macarons, cakes, melted chocolate, syrups — cleanly, in most baking uses without added oil or flour on the paper.
  • Strength from the parchment base. The parchment base carries the load: the sheet stays flat, resists tearing and holds its shape at the heat of ordinary baking better than silicone-coated paper on a standard food base.
  • Grease and moisture resistance. The dense parchment structure keeps oils, fats and moisture from soaking through, so a liner protects the product and keeps trays, steamers and equipment clean.
  • Freezer-to-oven stability. The grade moves between cold storage and the oven in typical food-service use. The exact temperature ceiling depends on basis weight and coating selection, so it is matched to the end use.
  • Printing and converting. The coated sheet converts cleanly — it can be slit to roll widths, cut to sheets or die-cut into liners for automated packing lines, and printed with brand marks.
  • Food-contact safety. Food-grade base and coating meet international food-contact safety requirements; supporting documentation for compliance review is available offline on request.

Supply forms and options

  • Rolls or sheets, in the 40–100 gsm grammage range.
  • Silicone coating on one or both sides; custom grammage, slit widths and printing (brand logos, sheet layouts) on request.

Typical end uses

Because it adds a high-release surface to an oil-, moisture- and heat-resistant base, food-grade silicone-coated parchment is commonly converted into:

  • Baking tray and sheet-pan liners, cake and loaf mould liners
  • Liners for Swiss rolls, cookies and other sticky bakes
  • Steamer basket liners and proofing-basket liners
  • Chocolate tempering sheets, candy and twist wraps, chocolate-box liners
  • Interleaving sheets for burgers, pastries, cheese and frozen foods
  • Barbecue and grill sheets

For the uncoated grade and the wider parchment family, see food-grade parchment paper and vegetable parchment paper; silicone-coated paper on a standard food-paper base is covered under food-grade silicone-coated paper.

How to order and choose

Food-grade silicone-coated parchment is supplied by grammage and width to match a converting line. For baking-paper producers, steamer-liner converters and food-packaging converters we stock coated parchment in the common basis-weight range and slit, sheet or print to order. Request samples to trial on your own line — tell us the end use, the format (roll or sheet) and the grammage you need, and we will recommend a starting grade.

Bofeng New Materials supplies food-grade silicone-coated parchment paper, on rolls and in sheets, to paper converters and food-packaging producers worldwide.
