What is candy twist wrapping paper

A twist wrapper holds a piece of confectionery by two crimped ends twisted in opposite directions. The paper must be soft and flexible enough to fold quickly and tightly around the piece at machine speed, yet firm enough for the twisted ends to keep their position afterwards. Candy twist grades balance the two: flexible, tear-resistant fibres fold without breaking during high-speed twisting, while controlled stiffness lets the twisted ends hold their shape instead of springing back, so the wrap stays tight through packing, display and transport.
