Air fryer base paper is a grease-resistant, food-contact paper base for the liners and sheets that sit inside an air fryer during cooking. It is supplied in rolls or sheets to converters, who slit, cut and die-cut it into round, flat or perforated liners sized for different baskets and models — the paper stock behind the liner that keeps food from sticking while hot air circulates.

As a paper supplier and sourcing partner, Bofeng offers air-fryer liner base paper in food-grade plain and coated forms, on rolls or in sheets. Tell us your converting process and the basket sizes you supply, and we will match grammage, coating and finish to your line.

What is air fryer base paper

Air-fryer liner paper works with the hot, fast-moving air that cooks food in an air fryer. The base sheet is dense and grease-resistant, so oils and juices released during cooking do not soak through onto the basket. Depending on the target liner, it can be used plain or given a food-grade coating that stops cooked food from bonding to the sheet. For the converter, what matters is a clean, uniform base that slits, cuts and die-cuts without curling or splitting, so finished liners run smoothly on slitting and packing lines.

Key material properties

  • Grease and oil resistance. The dense sheet structure keeps oils and cooking juices from soaking through, so the liner protects the food and the basket stays cleaner.
  • Non-stick release (coated version). A food-grade surface lets cooked food lift off the liner cleanly and helps the liner itself release from the basket after cooking.
  • Stability in hot-air cooking. The grade holds its shape and strength through the rapid heating and circulating hot air of an air-fryer cycle. The exact heat ceiling depends on the base grammage and coating, so the grade is matched to the end use.
  • Converting and finishing. The sheet slits, cuts and die-cuts cleanly into round, flat or perforated liners, and accepts printing for brand-marked blanks.
  • Food-contact safety. Food-grade materials meet international food-contact safety requirements; supporting documentation for compliance review is available offline on request.

Supply forms and options

  • Rolls or sheets, plain or with a food-grade coating.
  • Slit widths, grammage and printing for shaped or brand-marked liners on request.

Typical end uses

Because it resists grease and suits the hot-air cooking environment, air fryer base paper is commonly converted into:

  • Round, flat and perforated liners for air-fryer baskets
  • Tray and base sheets placed under food during air-frying
  • Pre-cut liner blanks for private-label packs and pre-cooked meal kits
