Offset Paper Labels

Office and warehouse labelling is a volume business - archive boxes, folders, shelf tags, price tags and shipping labels run in the thousands, and most are text-and-small-type jobs printed on an office laser or inkjet, or filled in by hand. The usual complaints: print comes out weak and small type blurs, handwriting bleeds into the paper, A4 sheets jam because the adhesive is too tacky, and labels curl or lift. Paying coated, full-colour label prices for these routine jobs only adds cost.

We supply uncoated offset paper labels for that job: a smooth, high-brightness or natural-white surface sized so fountain pens, ballpoint pens and markers write cleanly without bleed, and laser and inkjet printers produce crisp, high-contrast text. A permanent latex adhesive holds on paper packaging, plastics and metals, and a glassine liner peels cleanly. They come as rolls for automatic labelers or A4 sheets for in-house printing - an economical choice for routine, high-volume labelling.

• What is the difference between offset and art (coated) paper labels? Offset paper is uncoated, with a smooth surface that prints and writes cleanly and suits text-first jobs at an economical price. Art paper is coated on one side for glossy, full-colour and photographic print. Choose by whether your job is mostly type or mostly image.
• Can I write on offset labels with a pen? Yes - the surface is sized so fountain pens, ballpoint pens and markers write smoothly without bleeding or feathering.
• Will the A4 sheets run through my laser or inkjet printer? Yes - the surface is prepared for both, sheets stay flat, and the adhesive is balanced so sheets do not jam on high-speed laser printers from excessive tack. Print a test sheet first to confirm feed on your machine.
