A baking paper roll is bought when the length is the variable, not the sheet. A home baker pulls off what the tray needs; a pastry kitchen cuts 60 cm for the bench; a distributor covers a dozen tray sizes with one SKU. We slit and box silicone-coated baking paper into 30 cm rolls between 5 and 50 metres, with or without a cutter edge.
Where Baking Paper Rolls Are Used
- Supermarket and private label — the kitchen-drawer roll, the format most households buy.
- Bakeries and pastry kitchens — bench work, tray lining and interleaving dough between sheets.
- Foodservice and catering — high-volume tray and basket lining where a fixed sheet runs out mid-service.
- HoReCa distributors and cash-and-carry — one bulk case covering a range of tray sizes.
- Converters and packagers — roll stock for cutting into sheets, liners or bags downstream.
For a fixed finished sheet rather than a roll, see Pre-Cut Parchment Sheets; for air-fryer basket shapes see Air Fryer Paper Liners. The full line sits under Baking & Food Paper.
Key Features
Silicone on both faces
Coating on both sides means the paper releases from the tray and from the food, and a sheet cut short can be flipped over without losing the release.
The box decides where the roll is used
A box with a cutter edge tears square and stays on the bench; a plain box costs less and is what a commercial kitchen takes when a knife is already out. Same paper, different counter.
38 or 40 gsm, chosen by the load
Both grades are stocked in natural brown and white. The heavier sheet resists cockling under wet dough or a long bake; the lighter one folds and lines without standing off the tray.
Natural brown or white, no optical brighteners
Neither colour carries optical brightening agents. Brown reads as unbleached on a shelf; white keeps the food the only thing with colour on the tray.
Technical Specifications
Stock range covers the roll formats sold in retail and foodservice:
- 38 / 40 gsm food-grade baking paper, virgin wood pulp, silicone-coated on both faces
- 30 cm roll width; lengths of 5, 8, 10, 20, 30 and 50 m
- Natural brown or white; no optical brightening agents
- Box with or without a cutter edge
Other widths and lengths, printed boxes and blank rolls for downstream converting are made to order. Tell us the tray or bench the paper is cut on and we will confirm the format.
Roll lengths and box options
Every length is stocked in both box types, so choosing the cutter edge does not restrict the metre range.
| Roll width | Roll length | Box |
|---|---|---|
| 30 cm | 5 m | With or without cutter edge |
| 30 cm | 8 m | With or without cutter edge |
| 30 cm | 10 m | With or without cutter edge |
| 30 cm | 20 m | With or without cutter edge |
| 30 cm | 30 m | With or without cutter edge |
| 30 cm | 50 m | With or without cutter edge |
The carton grows with the roll, so a 50 m box takes noticeably more shelf depth than a 5 m one — worth checking against the drawer or shelf it has to live in.
How to Select and Order
- Pick the length by the way the paper is used: 5 and 8 m for household refills, 20 m and above for professional kitchens.
- Take the cutter edge for consumer sale and for counters that tear by hand; take the plain box where a knife is already on the bench.
- Choose basis weight by load: 40 gsm where wet dough or a long bake sits on the sheet, 38 gsm for lining and interleaving.
- Choose colour by the shelf: natural brown where the unbleached look sells, white where the food should carry the only colour.
- Send width, length, box type, colour and destination — request a quote or sample and we will confirm the grade, the box and the documents.

FAQ
Which roll lengths are available?
5, 8, 10, 20, 30 and 50 metres, all at 30 cm width, each in a box with or without a cutter edge.
Should I stock 38 or 40 gsm?
38 gsm is the general-purpose lining grade; 40 gsm holds up where the sheet carries wet dough or stays in the oven longer. Carry both if the range serves domestic and professional buyers.
Do the rolls contain optical brightening agents?
No, in either colour.
Can the box carry our brand?
Yes. Box artwork prints in food-grade ink; the paper itself can stay blank so the carton carries the whole design.
