The pad is a functional component, not a preservative: it absorbs and holds free liquid — blood and drip — so the tray base stays dry and the pack stays presentable. It does not change the pack atmosphere and does not extend shelf life.
- Construction — a food-grade absorbent core (polymer absorbent and fluff pulp) between a top sheet and a back sheet. Absorbency, thickness and top-sheet material are selected against the pack.
- Liquid retention — liquid is held inside the pad and does not seep back under stacking or transport pressure.
- Food-contact compliance — material specifications and test documentation are provided offline on request, for your own compliance review. Where your market requires a treated pad, we can supply versions made with food-contact-compliant additives.
- Formats — cut pads matched to tray footprint, and rolls for in-line dispensing.
