An export carton of fresh produce is its own small climate. Between farm grading and the wholesale or retail opening, fruit, vegetables and mushrooms keep respiring — the carton sweats, condensation forms inside, and that moisture is what turns a sound harvest into mold, soft rot and wasted margin before the pack is even opened.

Produce absorbent pads go into the carton at origin, under or between the load, and pull condensation and tissue fluid away as they appear. Sized for volume and for long transit, they keep the pack dry inside without drying the crop out — so what leaves the farm in good shape still opens in good shape at the destination market.

The outer layer channels moisture while the inner layer absorbs and locks it, capturing the condensation that forms from temperature swings inside full cartons — the standing dampness that breeds mold and rot across mixed loads.

Humidity held in balance across mixed produce

It lowers the high relative humidity inside a packed carton without pulling moisture from the crop, so soft fruit does not go mouldy and leafy lines do not wilt in the same shipment.

Firm, intact structure for automated lines

Uniform thickness and stable physical properties suit high-speed packing lines; the pad keeps its shape when wet and resists tearing under stacking and long-haul handling.

How to Select and Order

• Tell us what leaves the farm in bulk — product mix, carton size and whether you pack by hand or on a line.
• Choose absorbency by respiration: berry and leafy lines that sweat in transit need more absorbency than dense root crops.
• For long-haul export, confirm the pack format and expected transit window so we can spec pad size and placement.

MOQ, lead time and sample shipping depend on size and volume. Private-label printing is available for branded packs.
